Why am I buying these Oils and Candles, Anyway?
Spirituality takes as much footwork as a regular 9-5 job does, and in the end you receive what you've worked for.
These are all questions that were asked by previous skeptics of spiritual and ritual work. All of these questions are valid and I used to be a skeptic as well. Many of us are victimized by mainstream society to believe we need to always fall in line or obey social order, in order to achieve goals, be accepted and live happy lives. 99% of that has been proven inaccurate. As the other 1%, the rule makers, are doing the opposite, and thriving more than the average man. As the world suffers from depression, loneliness, self hate, low self esteem and the willingness to degrade ourselves to be accepted, mirrors the exact opposite result we were hoping for.
Most of mainstream society frowns upon having many gods and deities to pray to or worship. Christianity is a monotheist world, and we only need to pray to one God for all of our needs. However, spirituality has drastically been missing from this culture for centuries.
Having a solid spiritual foundations is one of the many secrets to success. Success in love, marriage, money, career, and our physical health. Spirituality is basically the beginning and the end of us all. We began as a spirit, and we will be a spirit once our time is up. So nurturing our spiritual ARENA, sort to speak, should almost be an obvious start to our lives. Our bodies just being the vehicles for our spirit, we have been distracted to only value the body. Our spirit is what makes us who we are. The teacher, the coach, the student, the mechanic and etc. It is the fire that burns inside us.
The same fire that we burn on candles represents our spirit talking to the universe. Igniting the flame, the heat, and its beautiful dance. We connect to the smoke of our incense, sage etc. It is the same elements which created us. We are connected to the air, the earth and wind as well. We are all children of the earth, so we connect with it to help and guide us. We would never fell alone or unworthy if we were to keep that truth in perspective. We would never feel helpless or hopeless if we remember our ancestors before us are still around to guide us and comfort us. We would never believe we were powerless if we remember that anything in this universe is possible.
Oils are just candles without fire, sort to speak, they are a simpler tool to use to manifest intentions. Oils being a element of nature, carry life, and with that, we add life to it by combining our intention for its use. We anoint our bodies, clothing, objects and tools to bring whatever intentions to the; whether it be protection, banishing evil forces, attracting love or money, we are speaking to the purpose and carrying out our duties to obtain that outcome.
Now, why did I just blab all that? Because, our authorities and higher ups are connected, themselves, to their spirit and spiritual world. They have already achieved a greater understanding of the universe to obtain what they have. Whether it be money and wealth, love and marriage, or great health and fame. They reached for their goals on a mundane level as well. Great athletes train hard and practice, but most meditate, have courage and feed their spirit as much as their bodies. The are in alignment with their goals, which makes them more achievable. Most of which are connected to their ancestors and appease gods and goddesses to guide them to what they want and need.
It is not uncommon for successful people to engage in rituals alone or with others to obtain a similar goal. It is not a secret anymore that we have multitudes of secret ritual societies in our mainstream society. Fraternities in college is but a sneak peak into higher spiritual allegiances that exist among us. And for those who are left out, well we get to go to work pay bills and die. No knowing what is even on the other side of that door for us because we spent 87 year looking down.
